- New Gixxer SF 250 Flex Fuel introduced
- Rs. 25,000 more than the standard model
- Bookings to commence soon
Suzuki has introduced its first-ever flex-fuel motorcycle, the Gixxer SF 250. This bike has been priced at Rs. 2.17 lakh (ex-showroom), making it almost Rs. 25,000 expensive than the standard model.
The Gixxer SF 250 Flex Fuel variant can now use ethanol up to 85 per cent. To make it happen, the Japanese manufacturer has upgraded the modifier injector, fuel filter, and also the fuel pump. These new upgrades are likely to be seen on other Suzuki motorcycles in future.
The Gixxer SF 250 Flex Fuel makes around 27bhp at 9300rp and a peak torque of 23Nm at 7300rpm. This engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox. There is still no information on whether any changes have been made to the gearbox.
Suzuki is selling this bike in two colours: Mat Black and Mat Red. Bookings for the bike will commence soon.
