Suzuki has increased the price of the BS6-compliant Gixxer SF and Gixxer SF MotoGP in India.
The Gixxer SF BS6 and its MotoGP edition were launched in India at the end of May priced at Rs 1.21 lakh and Rs 1.22 lakh respectively. However, after the hike, the Gixxer SF BS6 costs Rs 1.23 lakh while the Gixxer SF MotoGP edition has been pegged at Rs 1.24 lakh (all prices ex-showroom)
With the price increase, the Suzuki Gixxer SF is now the most expensive motorcycle in its segment. Nevertheless, it has not received any cosmetic or mechanical changes. The Gixxer SF uses a BS6-compliant, 155cc, single-cylinder air-cooled motor which churns out 13.4bhp at 8000rpm and 13.8Nm at 6000rpm and comes mated to a six-speed gearbox. As for features, the Gixxer SF sports a full-LED headlamp and tail lamp as well as a fully-digital instrument cluster.
