Suzuki has announced the specifications of the Gixxer SF-Fi following the launch of the premium commuter bike in nine cities. Even with the switch to an FI system for fuelling, the Gixxer SF Fi engine continues to churn out 14.6bhp just like the carburetted version.
The Gixxer SF Fi continues to be powered by a 155cc single-cylinder engine, with the new fuel injection system being the only point of distinction. The engine delivers 14.6bhp and 14Nm of torque through a five-speed transmission. Apart from this, the Gixxer SF Fi also gets a rear 220mm disc brake as standard. Like the standard bike, the Gixxer SF Fi rides on telescopic front forks and a seven-step adjustable rear monoshock.
When it comes to styling, the Suzuki Gixxer SF-Fi is available only in the MotoGP livery with Suzuki’s traditional racing colours. The ‘Fi’ badges are the only bits which set this bike apart from the regular Gixxer SF. Priced at Rs 99,262 (ex-showroom, Mumbai), the Gixxer SF Fi shares the market space with the likes of the Yamaha Fazer FI, TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and the Bajaj Pulsar AS200.
