Suzuki India has reported an impressive growth of 37 per cent in November 2017. The company sold 49,535 units last month, whereas in November 2016, the sales number stood at 30,830 units.
Out of the total sales, the domestic sales figure stood at 42,722 units and the exports were at 6913 units. In the corresponding month last year, the Japanese manufacturer sold 30,830 units in the domestic market and 5268 units were exported to other markets.
Suzuki doesn’t reveal its model-wise figures but it looks like the Access 125 has helped the company in a big way once again. This 125cc scooter isn’t just Suzuki’s highest selling product, but is also the highest selling 125cc scooter in India. There’s a steady demand for the Gixxer range of motorcycle. In fact, Suzuki launched an ABS version of the Gixxer SF to cater to the growing needs of the Indian buyer. Last month, the company also launched their entry-level cruiser, the Intruder which gets some radical styling and motor from the Gixxer 155. Suzuki is betting big on this product and expect it to help get additional market share for the company.
