- Patent reveals some major design
- Built around steel trellis frame
- Expected to be revealed in two years
The world has been hearing about the Suzuki Recursion Concept since 2013. But unfortunately, there have been no concrete information of this bike, until now.
Thanks to a recent patent design leak, we now know that the bike which is rumoured to called the GSX700T will be built around a steel trellis frame. It sports a single-side swingarm which was also seen on the concept, but the design has changed over the years. The patent design also reveals the bike’s wheels, forks and the mounts for the radial front brakes. However the callipers themselves and the rear sprocket are missing from these images.
The wheel design have changed a bit, the font gets a six-spoke styling and a ten-spoke rear. The overall ergonomics have gone towards the sportier stance. The handlebar is narrower and a bit lower. Plus, the footpeg mounting bracket is place a bit higher. Suzuki first started with a 588cc engine which was later switched to a larger 700cc DOHC engine that is expected to churn out around 150bhp.
Rumours suggest that this new Suzuki is expected to hit the market in the next one to two years. We’re expecting an official debut either at the 2018 EICMA or Intermot show.
