Suzuki has announced a recall for the 2017-2018 GSX-R1000 and 2018 GSX-S750 in India.
The recall concerns a fault in the bike’s fuel pump O-ring set which could have been damaged during installation. This is an issue of safety a damaged O-ring set can cause fuel leaks in the motorcycles.
Nonetheless, as a prudent measure, dealerships will notify affected customers and replace the ring set with an improved design free of cost. This recall had been issued a few days ago in the USA and also included the V-Strom 650. However, Suzuki has confirmed that the V-Strom 650 XT sold in India is not affected with this issue.
