- 2021 Suzuki GSX-R125 launched in Japan
- Gets new colour option
- Unlikely to be launched in India
Suzuki has launched the 2021 GSX-R125 in Japan with a price that converts to Rs 2.93 lakh.
For the new model year, the Suzuki GSX-R125 gets a new, dual-tone colour option that the company calls Stronger Red with Titan Black. This new paint scheme will be available alongside the existing Titan Black and Triton Blue Metallic colour options. However, the rest of the 2021 GSX-R125 also remains the same.
Underneath the full fairing is a 124cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled high-revving motor that is capable of churning out 15bhp of power at 10,000rpm and 11Nm of torque at 8,000rpm. It comes mated to a six-speed gearbox. Moreover, the Suzuki GSX-R125 rides on telescopic forks up front and monoshock at the rear. The motorcycle offers features like LED lighting for the headlamp and tail lamp as well as a fully-digital instrument cluster and ABS as standard.
Interestingly, Suzuki even updated the GSX-S125 which is the naked version of the GSX-R125 with new colour options. Nevertheless, neither of the motorcycles are likely to be launched in India as the company will focus on the Gixxer and Gixxer SF that have been specifically made for the Indian market.
