Suzuki GSX-S1000 goes on sale in the UK

Following its global debut earlier this year in Spain, the much anticipated Suzuki GSX-S1000 is now on sale in the UK with a price tag of £8,999 (Rs 8.82 lakh).

The litre class naked motorcycle features a new lightweight frame, three-mode traction control system and a GSX-R1000 K5-based engine, famed for its torque and mid-range grunt. This new model is available in the MotoGP Suzuki blue, a dark red and black variant and matt grey edition too.

The GSX-S1000 also comes with new six-spoke wheels and a full LCD dash, while the K5-based engine is mated to a new exhaust system for an improved aural experience.

The GSX-S1000 is also available in India, at Rs 12.25 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The motorcycle is imported into the country as a completely built unit.
