The Suzuki GSX-S300 was recently revealed in China and will be launched there as the Haojue DR300 in the coming weeks. Styling
The GSX-S300 draws styling inspiration from its bigger sibling, the GSX-S750 which is available in India. So, it sports a low-slung headlamp with full-LED lighting and an aggressively-styled bodywork that incorporates a muscular fuel tank and a sharp tail section with a split-seat setup. The manufacturer has also adorned the GSX-S300 (DR300) with bold graphics on the edgy tank shrouds and gold-finished fork bottles that enhance its appeal.
Features
In terms of features, the motorcycle gets full-LED lighting and a digital LCD instrument cluster. The unit displays speed, tachometer, a gear position indicator, and temperature gauge among other vital information. The GSX-S300 also offers a dual-channel ABS, USB charging, and hazard switch as standard.
Engine
Powering the Suzuki GSX-S300 is a 298cc, parallel-twin engine that puts out 28.8bhp at 8500rpm and 27.8Nm at 6500rpm. The motor comes mated to a six-speed gearbox.
Cycle Parts
It rides on 17-inch wheels on both ends wrapped in a 110/70 tyre for the front and 140/70 tyre for the rear. Suspension duties are taken care of by inverted forks up front and a seven-step monoshock at the back. Meanwhile, braking hardware consists of a 290mm disc for the front and a 240mm disc for the rear.
