The Suzuki GSX-S300 was recently revealed in China as the Haojue DR300. We bring to you all details of the motorcycle through this image gallery.
The Suzuki GSX-S300 borrows its styling from the bigger GSX-S750 and GSX-S1000. It sports an aggressive body style with a low-slung headlamp, muscular fuel tank, and a sharp tail section with a split-seat setup.
Furthermore, the graphics and gold-finished fork bottles enhance the GSX-S300’s appeal. Suzuki is offering the motorcycle in three colours- white, black and red.
As for features, the motorcycle is equipped with a full-LED headlamp, a digital instrument cluster that looks similar to the one on its bigger siblings, dual-channel ABS, USB-charging, and a hazard light switch.
Powering the GSX-S300 is a 298cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that puts out 28.8bhp at 8,500rpm and 27.8Nm at 6,500rpm. This motor is paired to a six-speed gearbox.
It rides on 17-inch wheels on both ends with inverted forks up front and a seven-step mono-shock at the back. Meanwhile, braking is done by a 290mm disc for the front and a 240mm disc for the rear.
The GSX-S300 is unlikely to make its way to India anytime soon as Suzuki already has developed the Gixxer 250, especially for the country. Nevertheless, the Suzuki GSX-S300 is an interesting offering in the 300cc streetfighter category which also has the Yamaha MT-03 and KTM 390 Duke.
