- GSX-S300 spied without camouflage inside China plant
- Likely to be unveiled at 2018 Intermot
- Unlikely to make its way to India
Suzuki is readying a 300cc streetfighter that will soon make its way to the famous GSX family. Recently, a production-ready model was spied inside a plant, making us believe that the official unveil isn’t far.
The leaked images of the bike shows off the sharp and aggressive styling of the bike. In fact, it resembles the patent images that surfaced online a few months ago. The bike sports upside-down forks, radiator, ABS and LED pilot lamps.
The GSX-300 is likely to be powered by a 300cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine that will churn out power around 30bhp and peak torque of around 25Nm. This motor will be mated to a six-speed gearbox. ABS will come as standard.
We are expecting Suzuki to unveil this bike at the upcoming 2018 Intermot show in Germany. Will this bike come to India? Highly unlikely. Rumours suggest that the Indian arm of Suzuki is developing a 250cc single-cylinder engine motorcycle that will help it take on the Yamaha FZ25.
