- Powered by an inline-four engine
- Second locally assembled Suzuki big bike, after the Hayabusa
- Expected to be priced under Rs 8 lakhs
The Suzuki GSX-S750 is going to be launched in India tomorrow. The second locally-assembled motorcycle after the Hayabusa, the middleweight streetfighter is expected to sport a price tag under Rs 8 lakhs.
The GSX-S750 looks up to its litre-class sibling, the GSX-S1000, for styling. The brawny looks and the loud paint schemes give it a massive street presence. Complementing its loud looks is the inline-four sound track. At the heart of the GSX-S750 is a 749cc engine, delivering 113bhp through a six-speed transmission. Rider aids include ABS and a three-level traction control system. The GSX-S750 rides on KYB inverted front forks with the option to adjust the preload and compression, while the rear monoshock can be only be adjusted for preload. Brake setup consists of twin discs up front and a single disc at the rear, with callipers sourced from Nissin.
As a middleweight streetfighter, the GSX-S750 rubs shoulder against the Triumph Street Triple S, Ducati Monster 797 and the Kawasaki Z900. Earlier today, we rode the GSX-S750 at the Buddh International Circuit. Here are our first impressions.
