After unveiling the bike at the 2018 Auto Expo in February, Suzuki has finally launched the GSX-S750 priced at Rs 7.45 lakhs. Give or take Rs 1 lakh from that price and you get 7 other bikes to choose from apart from its competition. Here is what the grid looks like-
While the GSX-S750 is a four-cylinder streetfighter, you could have a two-cylinder motorcycle in the same body style; the Ducati Monster 797. The smallest bike in the Monster range is powered by a 803cc L-twin air-cooled engine that produces 74bhp and 68.6Nm. It is priced at Rs 8.12 lakhs.
Ducati also offers an iconic motorcycle in the form of the Scrambler Icon priced at Rs 7.03 lakhs. The entry-level Ducati gets a comfortable, upright seating position with the same 803cc L-Twin engine as the Monster 797 mentioned above. Another bike in this list is the Triumph Street Twin. The bike is powered by a 900cc twin cylinder engine producing 54bhp and 80Nm of torque. It costs Rs 7.42 lakhs. You could also have the Harley-Davidson Street Rod at Rs 6.55 lakhs. The street bike gets an upright riding position and uses a 749cc, V-Twin engine. This unit produces 70bhp and 62Nm of torque.
The Indian motorcycle market also offers two adventure touring motorcycles in this list. You can lay your hands on the Kawasaki Versys 650 that comes with a price tag of Rs 6.69 lakhs. It is powered by a 649cc parallel-twin engine that puts out 67bhp and 64Nm of torque. Or, you could have a look at the Benelli TNT 600GT priced at Rs 6.61 lakhs. It uses a 600cc, inline-four cylinder engine which produces 80bhp and 55Nm of torque.
If neither of these bikes convinced you, there is a full-faired motorcycle that you could consider. The CBR650F, Honda’s middleweight sports-touring offering, is priced at Rs 7.31 lakhs. Powering the bike is a 649cc inline-four cylinder engine that produces 85.4bhp and 60.5Nm of torque.
