- Gets special paint theme
- Benefits from additional styling elements
- India launch likely in the coming months
Suzuki Motor Corporation’s flagship motorcycle, the Hayabusa, celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2023. To commemorate the occasion, the Japanese manufacturer has announced a special anniversary model of this iconic motorcycle. This variant will be sold globally from July, 2023, including in Japan.
This edition of the Hayabusa gets a new paint theme that comprises orange and black paint that is complemented by special colours for the drive chain adjuster and inner front brake disc. Further, Suzuki Motor Corporation has added original engravings to the muffler body and drive chain, along with a 25th anniversary emblem and a 3D 'Suzuki' logo on the fuel tank. The company will also offer the single-seat cowl as standard equipment. This, however, will not be available in the Japanese market.
Meanwhile, this model retains styling cues from the latest generation Hayabusa. Thus, it continues to boast a single-pod headlight with twin DRLs, a full fairing, a twin-sided exhaust, and a split-style saddle. The specifications and hardware, too, are similar to the standard motorcycle.
Currently, the Hayabusa is sold in 48 countries worldwide, including the United States and India. The company has achieved a cumulative series production of over 2,00,000 units. Thus, this 25th-anniversary model will be available in our market as well. However, the India launch details of this model are not available yet.
