Suzuki has launched the Hayabusa in three new paint schemes as a part of 2017 MY update. The Japanese manufacturer has also hiked the price of the sports tourer by Rs 30,000, and it now retails at Rs 13.88 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Suzuki Hayabusa will now be available in three new paint schemes - black/white, blue/black and black. It also gets new set of decals to complement the paint schemes. Powered by a 1340cc four-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, the Hayabusa is one of the fastest accelerating production motorcycles on the planet.
Suzuki has set up a dedicated assembly line for the Hayabusa at the Manesar production facility. Sales of the Hayabusa have doubled ever since the company commenced local assembly for the motorcycle. As completely knocked down (CKD) models fall in a lower tax bracket, the Hayabusa received a price cut of Rs 2.5 lakh. While it might not be as technologically advanced as its rival, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX14R, the massive difference in price of Rs 4 lakh has been enough to draw more customers.
