Suzuki has silently launched the new Hayate EP at Rs 57,169 (on-road Delhi) for the Indian market. The company has updated its official website with the tech specifications, features and the all India price.
The new Hayate EP is more than just a cosmetic change. It gets a new diamond frame that has helped increase in wheelbase. As per the company, this makes the Hayate EP the motorcycle with the longest wheelbase in the segment which gives the bike more straight line stability.
The engine on the Hayate EP has been heavily worked upon. This updated 113cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine now features the Suzuki Eco Performance which uses a sleek piston, high-ignition spark plug and low friction cylinder and piston rings. This change has helped Suzuki improve combustion, reduce friction and weight reduction on the new Hayate EP.
In terms of its looks, Suzuki has given the Hayate EP new decals and paint schemes. This entry-level motorcycle is now available in three new colours - metallic oort grey, pearl mira red and glass sparkle black. The new Hayate EP will compete with the Honda Livo, Hero Passion Xpro and the TVS Victor.
