The Inazuma GW250 has started arriving at few selected showrooms in the country as a demo bike. These bikes are expected to be used as test-ride vehicles as well as for training the staff. The location of this dealership is unknown; however it looks like a full-fledged showroom in some major city.
The launch date of January 27 has been doing rounds on the web for this bike, but Suzuki has officially confirmed that the launch date is not yet out but we are expecting it to be some time this month. Few selected dealerships have started taking pre-bookings for the bike, with the initial booking amount of Rs 10,000. Deliveries are excepted to commence from the day of the launch.
The Inazuma GW250 is powered by a 248cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that produces 26bhp at 8,500rpm and torque of 24.2Nm. The engine is known for low and mid-range power with decent fuel efficiency. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox. Only one variant of the Inazuma is expected to be sold in India with options of different colours. As per IAB, the Inazuma GW250 will be priced at Rs 3.13 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) which we think is too steep for this kind of motorcycle.
