Suzuki Motorcycle India has announced that its overall sales in India increased by over 10 per cent month-on-month in 2013. The company could accomplish this due to enhanced production capacity and deeper market penetration.
The company increased their production capacity by around 25 per cent that took their production capacity to 5.6 lakh units from 4.5 lakh units per annum. The company added 200 touch points in 2013, taking the total to 600,thereby extending its reach to existing and potential customers.
"Suzuki Motorcycle India had a successful year 2013, registering more than 10 per cent month-on-month growth in sales, " said company in a statement.
The company is all set to launch their first product of 2014 this month. The Suzuki Inazuma GW250 will be sold in India starting this month and is the first quarter-litre bike from the company.
