- 35 Hayabusa units sold last month
- Only 20 units of Intruder 150 were sold
- Hayabusa is assembled in India
The overall sales of Suzuki Hayabusa in the month of June is more than the company’s entry-level cruiser, the Intruder 150.
The Japanese company sold a total of 35 Hayabusa motorcycles last month. The Intruder 150 sales stood at just 20 units. From this figure, it is clear that this legendary Hayabusa brand has been well received by the Indian market and it isn’t surprising at all. The bike always had really good fan following since many years and after Suzuki decided to assemble the bike in India that resulted in a massive price drop the bike has been selling like hot cakes.
The on-road price of the new Suzuki Hayabusa comes to around Rs 20 lakh but there are a lot of Indian buyers who don’t really look at the pricing when they get to own a motorcycle like Hayabusa. We believe, the sales numbers of this litre-class superbike is bound to increase over the next couple of months and to meet the demand, we can expect Suzuki India to bring in more CKD kits to India.
