Suzuki Motorcycle India updated its product portfolio with the launch of the BS6 compliant Intruder. The 155cc cruiser, which shares its engine with the Gixxer and the Gixxer SF, has been priced at Rs 1,20,000 (ex-showroom Delhi). What else can you buy in the same price range? Besides the Intruder, Suzuki Motorcycle India also offers the Gixxer naked roadster and the Gixxer SF fully-faired motorcycles in the similar price range. The Gixxer is available at Rs 1,15,078 while the Gixxer SF is priced at Rs 1,25,076. Both, the Gixxer and the Gixxer SF share the same underpinnings, engine and cycle parts. The stylish looks of both models are enhanced by features such as LED headlight, LED taillight and a full-digital instrument cluster.
Mechanical specifications include a 155cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected motor that produces 13.4bhp and 13.8Nm. The engine is linked to a five-speed gearbox.
TVS Motor Company’s Apache RTR 200 4V retails at a premium of just Rs 4,000 over the Suzuki Intruder. Priced at Rs 1,24,000, the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V BS6 comes with a bigger displacement engine and more features than the Intruder. The BS6 compliant 197.75cc, single-cylinder engine on the Apache RTR 200 4V produces a healthy 20.2bhp of power and 16.8Nm of torque.
The feature list on the Apache RTR 200 4V includes Glide Through Technology (GTT), a full-LED headlight and a Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster. The company also offers a smartphone app that works with the instrument cluster.
The BS6 compliant Bajaj Pulsar 220F retails at Rs 1,16,710. The attractive price tag brings features such as a semi-fairing design, projector headlamp, LED position lamp, LED taillight and a semi-digital instrument cluster. The muscular looks of the motorcycle are enhanced by sporty features such as clip-on style handlebars, split seats and twin-piece pillion grab rail.
The stylish looks are complemented by the 220cc, single-cylinder engine makes a commendable 20.6bhp of power and 18.55Nm of torque. The motor is linked to a five-speed gearbox.
Plan to go electric? The flagship Revolt motorcycle, the RV400 is available at Rs 1,29,463. For that price, buyers get features such as full-LED lighting, Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster, upside-down front forks and a preload-adjustable rear mono-shock. The motorcycle comes with a smartphone app that gives access to the ride history, battery status, SOS battery delivery and Geolocation/Geo fencing. The Revolt, however, is available in a limited number of cities for now.
