Suzuki launches 2018 Gixxer and Gixxer SF

Suzuki has launched MY2018 updates for its premium commuter bikes, the Gixxer and the Gixxer SF. While the streetfighter is priced at Rs 80,928, the Gixxer SF retails at Rs 90,037 (both ex-showroom). 

For 2018, the Gixxer and the Gixxer SF are now available in a new paint scheme. Customers now have the option of a dual tone red/silver paint scheme. Besides, the Gixxer SF MotoGP paint scheme now gets an Ecstar logo, which is the Japanese brand’s official supplier of engine oil. These models were unveiled at the Auto Expo, earlier this year. 

Although the Gixxer and Gixxer SF had gotten off to a good start, the demand for the bikes has been waning off late. It might have won every one of our premium commuter shootouts, but its rivals continue to outsell the Gixxer by a huge margin. With the introduction of new paint scheme, we can expect a marginal increase in demand for the bikes. There hasn't been any change in the pricing for 2018.
