- Suzuki Access 125 and Burgman Street 125 get new colours
- Burgman Street 125 available in Glossy Grey colour
- Access 125 standard available in Metallic Dark Greenish Blue shade
Suzuki has introduced new colours options for its 125cc scooters, the Access 125 and the Burgman Street 125 in India. The Ride Connect (Bluetooth) variant of the Access 125 now comes in a Glossy Grey paint scheme while the standard trim is available Metallic Dark Greenish Blue shade. Meanwhile, the Burgman Street 125’s standard and Ride Connect trims can be purchased in new Glossy Grey colour.
Suzuki has also included a dual-tone footboard and seat in the Burgman Street 125 maxi-scooter. What’s more, both the Access 125 and Burgman will now incorporate side stand interlock functionality that’s mandated by the government. It prevents the engine from starting if the side stand is engaged in order to enhance the safety quotient.
Both scooters have remained unchanged in all other aspects. Powering the Access and Burgman is the same 124cc, air-cooled engine that comes mated to a CVT transmission system. It produces 8.6bhp of power and 10Nm of peak torque. As for the cycle parts, they ride on a 12-10-inch alloy wheel combination with telescopic forks and a monoshock. Braking is handled by a single disc up front while the option of a drum at both ends is also available.
The Ride Connect edition of the Access and Burgman Street come with a Bluetooth-enabled digital console that pairs with the user’s smartphone. It gives access to turn-by-turn navigation, alerts for messages, calls and WhatsApp notifications, high-speed warnings, and phone battery level.
