- Both look identical to their respective India-bound models
- Address 125 is the same as Access 125
- Could cost twice as much as the India-specific scooters
After its India debut late last year, the Suzuki Avenis 125 has now been launched in the UK. Along with it, Suzuki UK has also launched the Address 125, which looks identical to the Access 125 sold here.
The UK-spec Avenis 125 retains all the design and mechanical bits from its Indian counterpart. Sporting a youthful design, it packs a 124cc air-cooled mill which develops 8.58bhp and 10.3Nm. Address 125 too gets the same setup and output figures as well.
Speaking of Address 125, it’s a rebadged Access 125. From the family-friendly design to ample practicality, everything on the Address is the same as its Indian cousin. Meanwhile, both scooters share the underpinnings – telescopic front forks with a single rear shock and a front disc/rear drum brake setup.
Suzuki UK is yet to reveal the prices but we expect the 125cc duo to retail at a notably higher price than they do in the Indian market. For reference, the previous-gen Address (110cc format) was priced at GBP 2,399 (approximately Rs 2.27 lakh sans taxes). For reference, that’s Rs 16,000 more than the Suzuki V-Strom SX’s ex-showroom price.
