Suzuki Motorcycle India may launch their new scooter, the Let’s for the Indian market in April. The scooter that was unveiled before the Auto Expo will do its job in the fastest growing 110cc scooter segment.
The Let’s is powered by a 110cc mill that churns out 8.7bhp at 7,500rpm and 9.0Nm at 5,500rpm. It gets Suzuki’s new Suzuki Engine Performance (SEP) technology which the company claims provides top-class fuel efficiency of 63kmpl without compromising on power. This mill is mated to a CVT automatic transmission similar to its competitor. The 90/100-10 section tubeless tyres are fitted at both the front and the rear, while the stopping power is provided through 120mm drum brakes. The scooter is light with a kerb weight of 98kg and also has a decent ground clearance at 160mm.
The Suzuki Let's is available in five colours - Pearl Mira Red, Metallic Triton Blue, Pearl Mirage White, Glass Sparkle Black & Metallic Sonic Silver. We are expecting Suzuki to price this scooter on par with the segment leader, the Honda Activa. It will also compete with soon to be launched Hero Dash and the new 110cc scooter from Mahindra Two Wheelers.
