Suzuki is planning to make its electric scooter debut sometime in 2025. The company plans to launch an electric version of the Access to rival the soon-to-be-launched Honda Activa electric.
Over the last two years, the Japanese firm has been testing the Burgman electric on Indian roads. However, the company will first launch the electric version of the Access, followed by the electric Burgman Street. Both these scooters are based on the same platform, which makes it easier for the brand to test the internals. The same strategy could be used for its EV avatars.
Like other Japanese brands, Suzuki as well is a bit slow when it comes to launching new products, especially in the electric segment. Now with Honda making its debut with the Activa electric this month, Suzuki would also like to make its presence felt.
As of now, there is no exact date for the launch of the Suzuki Access Electric, but we should see some launch developments closer to next year’s festive season.
