- Suzuki sold 57,000 units in January 202

Suzuki Motorcycle India has kick-started the year by registering a 2 per cent growth in January 2021.
The manufacturer sold 57,004 motorcycles and scooters in India last month as compared to the 56,013 units it sold in January 2020. And as always, the Access 125 and Gixxer 155 series were the forerunners in maintaining Suzuki’s sales numbers. However, exports for the company witnessed a significant drop of 19.38 per cent in January 2021. Suzuki managed to export 7865 units last month as against the 9839 units sold overseas in Jan’2020.
In recent news, Suzuki also marginally hiked prices of the Burgman Street 125, Gixxer, Gixxer SF and Intruder 150 in India. Nonetheless, the auto industry is picking itself up from the effects of the pandemic with brands like Honda, Royal Enfield and TVS witnessing steady growth since the festive season of 2020.
