- Total of 79,359 motorcycles and scooters sold
- 16,203 units exported
- Likely to launch V-Strom 800DE soon
Suzuki Motorcycle India registered a total sale of 79,359 units in November; a 21 per cent growth compared to November 2021 wherein it sold 55,608 units.
Breaking down the total number, Suzuki managed to sell 63,156 motorcycles and scooters in the country last month while exporting the rest of the 16,203 units. Now, when compared to October 2022, the numbers for domestic sales and exports have dropped by around 9.6 per cent. Nonetheless, the Suzuki Access 125 continues to be at the top of its game as the most-sold 125cc scooter in the country. Even the brand’s Gixxer 155 series have a major contribution to the sale numbers.
That said, Suzuki revealed an interesting product at the EICMA 2022 in the form of the V-Strom 800 DE that is likely to make its way to India sometime next year. When it does, it will go up against the BMW 850GS, Triumph Tiger 900 and the upcoming Honda Transalp 750 that is also expected to make its debut next year.
