Suzuki has silently updated the Swish 125 scooter with cosmetic revisions. The recently launched Activa 125 has raised the heat in 125cc scooter segment and this update by Suzuki seems to be a direct move to challenge Honda’s new offering.
The Swish 125 now gets a refreshed look thanks to new graphics and five colour schemes- pearl glacier white, glass sparkle black, metallic sonic silver, candy antares red and metallic triton blue. It also gets a revised instrument panel, though all the mechanicals have been retained. The Swish 125 is powered by a 124cc, single-cylinder engine producing 8.5bhp and 9.8Nm of torque through a CVT transmission.
Suzuki had recently announced its intentions of upgrading most of its two-wheeler line-up. Besides cosmetic upgrades, the Japanese manufacturer also plans to upgrade its motorcycles mechanically with Suzuki Eco Performance technology. Despite returning decent sales figures, Suzuki two-wheelers have always remained in the shadow of other established popular brands.
The Swish 125 is priced at Rs 52,994 (ex-showroom Delhi) and goes up against other 125c scooters like the Hero Maestro and Mahindra Duro .
