Suzuki has recalled its latest superbikes – the GSX-S1000 and the GSX-S1000F over a faulty radiator hose.
Over 174 units of these bikes have been affected in the United Kingdom. While the company claims that no complaints have been reported by the customers, they are replacing this faulty component with a new one, free of charge to avoid any issues that arises in the future. Suzuki is in the process of contacting its customers, who will be asked to get in touch with the service centres. Once the new component arrives, the affected bikes will be fixed.
Both the bikes are being sold in India sincethe last few weeks as a completely-built-up (CBU) unit from Japan. We are yet to hear anything from Suzuki’s Indian arm regarding this recall, as we are sure some of the models in the country have also been affected. We have emailed Suzuki India regarding this and are expecting a reply soon.
