- Around 552 bikes being recalled
- Bolts can be damaged by engine heat and vibration
- Dealers will replace bolts and repaint the area free of charge
Suzuki has issued recalled notice to GSX-S125 and GSX-R125 customers in UK. The company has found issues with the engine mount bolts.
As per the company, the paint on the frame near the bolts can be damaged by engine heat and vibration. This wear can loosen the bolts slightly and that could increase the chance of failure. The Japanese manufacturer said that no customer bikes have been affected as of now, and this is a preventive step.
The affected customers will be contacted by Suzuki dealers who will replace the bolts and repaint the area free of charge.
