- It recorded domestic sales of 53,085 units in the last month
- Exports declined by around 50 per cent

Suzuki recorded a growth of 24.19 per cent in its two-wheelers sales in India. While the company had sold 42,722 units in the month of November in 2017, it recorded sales of 53,058 units in the same month this year.
In terms of domestic sales and exports together, the company saw a hike of 13.96 per cent here as well. It sold 56,531 units in November this year while the figures of the corresponding period last year stood at 49,647 units. However, if only exports are to be considered, the company witnessed a considerable decline. While it exported 6,925 units in November 2017, it dispatched only 3,446 units in the same month this year.
Suzuki saw a year-on-year growth in the month of October as well when it announced a surge of 34.13 per cent as compared to October 2017. The company is aiming at steady growth and foresees that the total sales figure will reach 7.5 million units during the 2018-19 fiscal year.
The Burgman Street 125 has been significantly helping Suzuki achieve better numbers as the maxi scooter has been performing well in the booming 125cc scooter segment. To put it into perspective, Suzuki sold 10,894 units of Burgman in October 2018, thereby outselling the Honda Grazia by a small margin.
