- Suzuki sells over 40,000 units in December 2022
- Exports increase by 23 per cent

Suzuki Motorcycle India has announced a 25.6 per cent sales growth for December 2022.
The Indian-arm of the Japanese brand sold 40,905 motorcycles and scooters in the country last month as against 32,549 units in December 2021. On the other hand, the company witnessed a 35 per cent slump in sales compared to November 2022 wherein it sold over 63,000 units in India. Nonetheless, exports grew for the company month-on-month as well as yearly. Suzuki exported 23,007 motorcycles and scooter in December; a 23 per cent increase compared to the same month in 2021. Meanwhile, it witnessed a massive 41.9 per cent growth when compared to its export in November 2022.
Now, Suzuki recently launched the Burgman 125 in an updated avatar and added the EX suffix to it. This model comes with a bigger rear wheel that would translate to different riding dynamics too. For the coming year, we can expect the company to introduce its big-bike line up like the new V-Strom 800DE and the GSX-8S too.
