Suzuki has revealed the GSX-R1000R Origins edition. The bike pays homage to the iconic 1985 GSX-R750 also known as the mother of modern sport bikes.
Based on the standard GSX-R1000R, the bike gets the same blue and white livery and is limited to 33 units worldwide. Suzuki has equipped the bike with additional parts like- adjustable racing footrest, passenger seat cowl, aluminium chain guard, aluminium heel plates, aluminum oil cap, carbon fibre front air intakes and engine covers along with an Akrapovic Carbon exhaust.
The bike also gets a plate that features the unit number along with a wooden box that includes original parts. However, the bike remains the same mechanically. It is powered by a 999cc, in-line four cylinder engine that produces 202bhp and 117.6Nm of torque. While the price of the bike is currently unavailable, we can expect it to carry a price tag worthy of a limited edition motorcycle. On the other hand, it is highly unlikely to arrive in India anytime soon.
