Suzuki Two-wheelers has registered an overall growth of 32.99 per cent with 57,469 units sold in September 2017 as compared to 37,058 units sold in the same period last year.
Breaking down the total sales, the manufacturer registered a domestic sale of 50,785 units while exports madeupthe remaining6,684 units. This is the first time that the manufacturer has crossed the 50,000 units mark in domestic sales. The manufacturer credits this growth to the festive season and its two models, the Access 125 and Gixxer.
Suzuki was aggressive inits expansion in the Indian market with 13 new dealerships last month, taking the total to 467 such facilities in India.
