In the world of Scramblers, Suzuki is late to the party. But nevertheless, it has one now – the SV650 Scrambler. It was unveiled in France through the company’s official YouTube channel.
Based on the base model of the SV650, the Scrambler gets higher and wider handlebars, bigger footpegs, stubby front fender, headlight grille and a small windscreen too. To make it off-road capable, the SV650 Scrambler is fitted with Dunlop Mutant tyres. There’s also radiator and chain guards along with a brown leather seat.
This Japanese Scrambler is powered by a V-Twin 650cc engine which generates 75bhp at 8500rpm and peak torque of 64Nm at 8100rpm. Gearbox is six speed. Suzuki is testing the water with this new Scrambler only in France. It’s priced at € 7,999(Rs 5.86 lakh). We can expect this bike to make its way to more markets depending on the response it gets from the French market.
