- Burgman Street to get new matte black variant
- Spotted at dealerships
Suzuki’s latest scooter, the Burgman Street is getting ready to get a new paint scheme. A few matte black variant of this maxi-scooter has been spotted in public.
With more than one scooter caught on camera, it makes us believe that the official dispatches have begun, and the Suzuki dealerships across the country will receive it shortly. As per Suzuki’s official website, the Burgman Street is current sold in three colours – grey, black and white. The addition of matt black as fourth colour is definitely going to help Suzuki sell more Burgman Streets.
The Burgman Street gets its power from a 124cc engine which produces 8.6bhp and 10.2Nm of torque and is mated to a CVT gearbox. Suzuki has equipped the scooter with a front disc and rear drum brake along with CBS (combi-brake system) as standard. It gets a 5.6-litre fuel tank with a 21.5-litre underseat storage capacity. The instrument cluster is an LCD unit that displays speed, odometer, two trip meters, clock, fuel level and oil change indicator.
The Burgman Street goes up against the TVS Ntorq and the Honda Grazia. The new paint scheme might ask for a marginal increase in price. But Suzuki is known to offer products at great price. So expect some more additions in the next few months.
