Suzuki is all set to launch their new Gixxer SF motorcycle tomorrow at an event in Delhi. It will be priced at a slight premium over its naked sibling - the Gixxer. It will go up against the Yamaha Fazer V2.0 and the Honda CBR150R.
The Gixxer SF is the fully-faired version of the Gixxer and shares most of the components with its naked sibling. The company is promoting it as 'The Street Sport Bike', which gets an additional new fairing with funky decals. This fairing gives it a sporty look and makes it look bigger in comparison to the naked Gixxer. The other components are directly carried over from the Gixxer, like the seats, rear section and tyres.
The Gixxer SF will be powered by the same 155cc single-cylinder air-cooled carbureted engine from the Gixxer. It comes mated to a five-speed gearbox and exactly similar to the Gixxer's engine, produces 14.59bhp of power and 14Nm of torque.
The Suzuki Gixxer SF will be available only in three colours - white, blue and black, unlike the Gixxer that comes in five colours. The new motorcycle will be slotted above the naked Gixxer and will come as an option for Indian consumers looking for a fully-faired bike.
