- 100th anniversary GSX-R1000R unveiled
- Limited to 100 units only
- Priced at Rs 16.19 lakh
Suzuki has taken the wraps off a special edition GSX-R1000R. This motorcycle will celebrate Suzuki’s 100 anniversary.
The company will only make 100 units of these and each one of it will cost a lot of money. The electric blue paint scheme on the motorcycle is inspired from the current MotoGP motorcycle, the silver paint on the faring is from Suzuki’s 1960s grand prix racing.
Mechanically, this Suzuki remains unchanged. It’s the same powerful 1000cc inline-four motor and same gearbox. The features are loaded too. So things like lean angle-sensitive ABS, launch control, Brembo radial-mounted Monobloc and some more electronic aids are part of this motorcycle.
This limited edition bike has been priced at $22,085 (Rs 16.19 lakh) and is available only in the UK market.
