Suzuki has just announced the special editions for their litre-class bikes – the GSX-S1000 and the GSX-S1000F.
Called the Yoshimura editions, both the superbikes are loaded with performance parts, with the major one being the R11 exhaust. Other than this, both the bikes get Yoshimura stem nut, timing plug, bar ends and oil filler cap. And the list doesn't just stop there. The bikes are equipped with rim tapes, tank pad, fuel cap trim, paddock stand bobbins, matte black lever and heel plate trim. The paint job too, is new and we must say, it looks quite stunning.
Mechanically, there are no changes and both the bikes continue to be powered by the same 999cc inline-four cylinder engine. The non-ABS GSX-S1000 Yoshimura edition has been priced at £9,799 (Rs 9.65 lakh), whereas for the ABS version, you need to shell out £10,299 (Rs 10.14 lakh) The GSX-S1000F is priced at £10,699 (10.54 lakh). Unfortunately, these special editions won’t be sold in India.
