Looks like Suzuki is trying its best to market the Inazuma as much as they can. After a deep price cut in India and Indonesia, the Japanese manufacturer has unveiled a special edition of the quarter litre motorcycle for the UK market.
Christened as the Inazuma 250Z, the special edition is limited only to cosmetic changes. It gets dual tone paint schemes – red/black and blue/black. It is nothing but paint add on, on the black Inazuma. While the regular Inazuma is priced around Rs 3.65 lakh, the 250Z edition demands a premium of Rs 5,000.
Suzuki India brings the Inazuma to India via CKD (completely knocked down) route and assembles it at its Gurgaon facility. The B-King inspired motorcycle uses a 248cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that produces 26bhp of power at 8,500rpm and torque of 24.2Nm. Despite the low power output for a 250cc parallel twin motor, the Inazuma’s engine impresses with its low and mid-range power and overall smoothness throughout the rev range.
There is a high chance of this special edition coming to India. But we believe, the Indian arm will do it if they see not-so-good response from their recent Rs 1 lakh price slash for the motorcycle.
