- V-Strom 1050 and 1050XT get a total of five new colours
- Price starts at Euro 9,999

Suzuki had launched the V-Strom 1050 and 1050XT last year in Europe. Now, the brand has unveiled five new colours for its adventure tourer in the European market. The V-Strom 1050XT gets four new colours, Champion Yellow/Glass Sparkle Black, Pearl Brilliant White/Glass Blaze Orange, Metallic Oort Grey/Glass Sparkle Black and the Glass Sparkle Black (YVB). Meanwhile, the V-Strom 1050 gets only one new colour, Candy Daring Red/Glass Sparkle Black.
The design of the adventure tourer is inspired by the DR-BIG model. It gets features like all LED lights, full LCD screen for the instrument panel, USB outlet, slope dependent control system, load-dependent control system, traction control, lean angle-sensitive ABS with two modes, ride-by-wire, hill hold and cruise control.
Powering the bike is a 1037cc V-Twin Euro 5 engine mounted in a twin-spar aluminium frame which produces 105.9bhp of power at 8500rpm. The suspension duties on the bike is handled by 43mm inverted forks at the front and a bottom link-type mono-shock at the rear. It is equipped with 19-inch rims at the front and 17-inch ones at the rear which are wrapped in Bridgestone Battlax Adventure A41 tyres.
The price of the bike starts at Euro 9,999, which converts to Rs 8,87,821. Although, the chances of the bike entering the Indian market are pretty faint. The company already has the V-Strom 650XT on offer in the country and has also recently launched the much-awaited new Hayabusa.
