- Currently available in Italy
- Comes with factory-fitted accessories
- Remains mechanically unchanged
Suzuki has taken the wraps off the V-Strom 1050 XT Pro. It is the top-of-the-line variant and is currently available only in Italy.
The V-Strom 1050 XT Pro comes fitted with accessories that amplify its off-road abilities. It features a slightly different engine crash guard as compared to the XT model. The Pro also comes with an aluminum sump guard and large adjustable footpegs. Moreover, the 37-litre aluminum panniers appeal to the V-Strom 1050’s touring side.
Apart from these accessories, the Suzuki V-Strom 1050 XT Pro remains unchanged. It is powered by a 1,037cc, liquid-cooled, V-twin engine that puts out 106bhp of power at 8,500 rpm and 100Nm peak torque at 6,000 rpm. While the bike will be made available across Italy soon, it is unclear when Suzuki will launch the Pro variant across the globe.
As for India, the manufacturer is yet to introduce the base V-Strom 1050 XT here. Although we can expect to make its way early in 2021 to compete against the Triumph Tiger 900 and the BMW F850GS.
