The BS6 version, similar to the old model, uses a 645cc, 90-degree, V-twin engine that makes 70bhp and 62Nm. The power and torque output numbers are similar to the BS4 version. The styling cues and other specifications, too, are similar to the BS4 model, and the V-Strom 650 XT BS6 continues to feature a vertically-stacked headlamp, an LED tail lamp, semi-fairing, a tall windscreen, knuckle guards, tubeless-tyre compatible wire-spoke wheels, and a semi-digital instrument cluster. The motorcycle will be sold in two colours - Champion Yellow and Pearl Glacier White.
The suspension setup comprises of telescopic front forks and a rear mono-shock while the anchoring tasks are handled by twin discs at the front and a single rotor at the rear. The safety net on the motorcycle is handled by a dual-channel ABS and a three-level traction control system.
