A fully-faired version of Suzuki’s premium 155cc motorcycle, the Gixxer, was recently spotted in Delhi, where shutterbugs managed to capture the motorcycle undergoing trials alongside its naked sibling. While the fairing and a majority of the test mule’s bodywork was heavily camouflaged, an Indonesian website has rendered the motorcycle, along the lines of Suzuki’s bigger capacity supersport motorcycles.
While the sculpted fuel tank and the panels from the tail section have been retained, the edgy body panels from the front have made way for the full sized fairing. This bulky front fairing integrates the mirrors and bears an uncanny resemblance to the litre-class GSX-R1000 (though, we aren’t complaining). The graphics and decals have also been carried over from bigger Suzuki motorcycles.
Going by the supersports nature of the faired Gixxer, the chaps from MotoBlast decided to add clip-on handlebars to the renderings, which doesn’t seem improbable at all. There is no reason to believe that Suzuki will alter the mechanicals of the faired Gixxer. It will be powered by the same 155cc single-cylinder engine that produces 14.6bhp and 14Nm of torque, through a five-speed gearbox.
