UK-based racing outfit, T3 Racing, has unveiled the final production models of the Gemini Project. Based on the 2011Triumph 1050 Speed Triple, these custom motorcycles will be produced in a limited run of just 100 units.
These custom motorcycles are a result of the joint efforts of T3 Racing and Kevin Taggart of the Spirit of the Seventies design house. The project started off with the frame of a 2011 Speed Triple and a heavily tuned version of the 1,050 three-cylinder engine. With an output of 160 horsepower, the Gemini Project bikes justify the looks with their performance.
The custom bikes retain the wheelbase and steering angle of the standard bikes. The mechanical upgrades include modified Showa front forks and yokes, carbon bodywork, high-performance brakes and a quick shifter. T3 Racing gives you the option of switching to either spoke or magnesium wheels. At the rear, an Ohlin damper is connected to the single sided aluminium swingarm. The bodywork of the stock bike has been ditched in favour of a barebones design with minimal bodywork.
These custom bikes also get keyless ignition and a touch screen display in place of the instrument cluster. Customers can opt for either a megaphone exhaust or a straight out unit. Each of the 100 limited edition bikes will be personalised with the customer’s name. T3 Racing will start accepting booking for these bikes from August 31.
