- Made of stainless steel
- Lighter than stock end-can
- Improves power and torque output
Termignoni has unveiled a slip-on exhaust system for the Royal Enfield Himalayan. Designated as the RE0109440IIB, the exhaust makes the motorcycle lighter and improves the power and torque output.
The Termignoni exhaust gets a stainless steel finish. It also retains the upswept design, which means that the bike’s off-roading abilities should not be affected. The Termignoni exhaust is two kilograms lighter than the stock end-can. With this unit, the power output is bumped up by 0.8bhp while the torque is boosted by 1.65Nm. This translates into a peak output of 24.1bhp and 31.9Nm. The jumpin performance is not concentrated just in the peak rev band, but throughout the rev range.
In Europe, this Termignoni exhaust costs EUR 370 (Rs 29,526). Currently, there are no official importers for the Italian brand’s exhausts in India. So if you want to get your hand on this exhaust, you will have to buy it and import it through one of the European e-commerce portals. Mind you, there will be additional shipping and custom charges that you will have to shell out.
