Triumph Motorcycles is developing their most affordable motorcycle, the Trident. This motorcycle when launched in 2021 will sit below the Street Twin.
The Trident will be positioned as an entry-level roadster that that is likely to have some design and performance characteristics from the Speed Triple. According to the company, it focused on three aspects while making this motorcycle – performance from its proven inline three motor, class leading technology and agile handling.
The British-brand hasn’t revealed the power figures of the Trident yet, but it is expect to be class leading. The company plans to take on the Honda CBR650R, Kawasaki Ninja 650R and the Yamaha MT-07 with this new motorcycle.
Triumph will launch the Trident sometime next year but expect the company to reveal this motorcycle fully at the end of this year. This motorcycle will come to India and is likely to be priced quite competitively.
