Honda has taken the wraps off the Neo Sports Cafe concept at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show.
As the name suggests, the Honda NSC is a neo-retro motorcycle, with components like TFT instrument console and LED lamps adding a modern touch. The sleek body, minimalistic rear, sculpted fuel tank and Y-spoke alloy wheels give it a sporty appeal. The single-sided swingarm further enhances that oomph factor.
At the heart of the Honda NSC is a liquid-cooled inline-engine, though the company had withheld specifications about the engine. It rides on 17-inch wheels with inverted front forks and a rear monoshock.
Although Honda hadn't confirmed this, the NSC concept is expected to spawn the next-generation CB1000R. As such, we can expect the cycle parts and powertrain to be similar to the new Fireblade. However, it might be a year before we see a production version of the motorcycle.
