Suzuki has finally taken the wraps off its stylish scooter, the new Swish. The global unveil took place at the ongoing 2017 Tokyo Motor Show.
With the new Swish, Suzuki is targeting set of buyers who are looking to commute in urban areas but need something that is stylish and appealing. The new Swish has definitely got the oomph factor to turn heads. The fascia gets the most attention, thanks to the usage of big and aggressive headlamp design. Suzuki has given LED treatment to the headlamp, daylight running lamp and also the tail lamp. The turn indicators, unfortunately, continues to get the traditional bulbs. From the side, the large and wide seat and the sleek design language makes the new Swish desirable. The wheel design is quite basic but the black paint has managed to make it look good.
The instrument cluster on the new Swish is LCD which is large and is flanked by two buttons, select and adjust. The scooter is equipped with USB charging socket to charge the smartphones. The Japanese manufacturer hasn’t revealed any mechanical details but we’re expecting it to be powered by a 125cc engine. The tuning will definitely be changed to make the scooter more fuel efficient.
Suzuki India took the old Swish off the market when the industry moved to BS-IV. But the new Swish is likely to be launched in India and there’s a high chance of this stylish scooter making its way to the 2018 Auto Expo.
