Let’s agree to the fact that there will be constant demand for big bikes in India. With increasing disposable income and rise in aspirations, a lot of Indian buyers will continue to show interest in big bikes. This has resulted in increase of brands and their showrooms in the country. So in order to give you a clear perspective, we list the most popular big bikes on BikeWale in June.
Rank 3: Ducati Scrambler
The most affordable motorcycle in Ducati's line-up, the Scrambler, took the third spot this month. In May, the Scrambler came second after the Harley-Davidson Street 750. This Italian motorcycle lost its second spot due to increase in RTO tax in some states like Maharashtra, pushing the total price on the higher side. Consumers from Bengaluru showed the maximum interest for the Scrambler, followed by Mumbai and Delhi. Interestingly, the difference between Mumbai and Delhi is huge, making us believe that Delhi isn’t yet open to buying something like the Scrambler.
Rank 2: Benelli TNT 600i
The TNT 600i – the most affordable inline-four motorcycle and also one of the highest selling for Benelli. It was the third popular big bike last month, but in June it overtook the Scrambler to become the second most popular big bike. With close to 17,000 visitors, the TNT 600i has surely kept the Benelli line-up alive. In fact, close to 50 per cent of these visitors want to buy the TNT600i, which is a very big number. And just like each month, buyers from Mumbai showed the most interest, followed by Bengaluru. Pune, Chennai and Bengaluru had almost the same number of requests.
Rank 1: Harley Davidson Street 750
It looks like the Street 750 will hold the numero uno position for at least a couple of months more. Why? Because, there’s no other big bike in the Indian market that offers so much value at Rs 4.6 lakh. With over 53,000 visits and 8100 buying interests, the Street 750 is the most popular big bike on BikeWale in June.
